Every season, Hassan began the same way.

He prepared the soil, bought seeds, repaired irrigation lines, and cared for crops that would not earn anything for months.

The work began early.
The costs came first.
The customers arrived last.

Then he joined BUNU.

Hassan began sharing what he planned to grow before planting. Families adopted some of his trees and growing beds, followed their progress, and learned about the work behind each harvest.

For the first time, customers were connected to his farm before the produce was ready.

Their early support helped ease some of the season’s pressure—and their connection did not end at harvest.

Families returned for farm visits. Children came to plant and pick. Hassan offered practical workshops, shared generations of knowledge, and traded resources with nearby growers.

The farm was no longer valued only for what left in a crate.

Its story had value.
Its knowledge had value.
The season itself had value.

BUNU helped Hassan build demand earlier, create new sources of income, and turn occasional buyers into people who knew his farm—and kept coming back.

He was still growing crops.

Now, he was also growing a community around them.
