Every Cat Counts.

As summer temperatures rise across the UAE, life becomes even harder for the thousands of community cats living on our streets.

Every year, the hotter months bring an increase in abandoned pets and animals in need. This year, local rescuers have also seen a growing number of cases linked to families displaced by conflict and the ongoing effects of the recent war.

Behind every sighting is a story — a frightened kitten, an injured cat, a hungry mother searching for food, or a pet struggling to survive after being left behind.

That's why Bunu launched the City Pets Challenge.

Our goal is simple: bring animal lovers across the city together to map stray cat colonies so we can better understand their needs, identify emergencies faster, and coordinate support where it's needed most.

Getting involved is easy: Spot a stray ?

📸 Take a photo.
📍 Share the location.
❤️ Tell us whether the cat appears healthy or needs urgent help.

Every report helps create a clearer picture of our city's community cats and enables faster responses for animals in need.

AT the end of summer, we will celebrate and reward the top contributor with a special Honey Pot filled with gifts and experiences generously donated by our local partners and vendors.

Every photo shared, every location pinned, and every cat reported helps create safer, healthier neighborhoods for both people and animals.

Together, we're building the map that makes better care possible — one cat at a time.
